The Aerogenics reinforcement plate for the 2003-11 Honda Element is designed to strength the area around gas strut mounting location for the rear hatch. This area is known to become weaker as the car ages and is accelerated with the use of stronger gas struts (for example - to support a hatch mounted ladder).
Our product is made of USA 6061 Aluminum and will never rust. It's designed to be lighter than steel while providing the correct surface area to distribute the load from the gas shock while will prevent further damage to the body of the car.
Our kit includes left & right reinforcement plates, four self tapping screws, and as always, free shipping within the USA. We proudly make this item in-house at our Corona, California location.
